Updated 17 August 2026: the company responsible for your data is now D HAYE AI LTD. Nothing about what we collect or how we use it has changed.
David Haye Accountability is straight with you about training — and about your data. Here's the deal, in plain English.
Who we are
David Haye Accountability is operated by D HAYE AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14547447), registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO registration ZC211098). D HAYE AI LTD is the data controller. Contact: support@davidhayeaccountability.com.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your first name, surname, email address, date of birth, weight, height (if you give it), and your body-shape picks — which we use to estimate your current and target body fat.
- Before you sign up: whatever you tell the coach on WhatsApp on the way in — and the details David already had for you, like your name and number. It stays with you and carries over when you join.
- While you're a member: your daily check-in scores (sleep, mood, discipline), your weigh-ins and measurements, and what you tell us in your voice notes. Voice notes are converted to text; we keep the recording and the transcript, stored securely, and they're deleted with the rest of your data.
- If you pay for membership: your billing email and a record of your payments and subscription status. We never see or store your card number — that goes straight to our payment provider.
- If you connect a fitness watch (optional) — WHOOP, Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, Polar or Withings: sleep (including sleep stages), steps and daily movement, heart rate (including resting heart rate), stress and recovery scores, workouts, and weight if you use a connected scale — plus your last 28 days of history when you first connect. We never take GPS routes, your location, or anything else on your phone. Connecting is optional — coaching works fine without it, and screenshots do the same job. Disconnect any time by messaging the coach (for example "stop reading my watch").
- If you send us your blood test results (optional): the report you send and the results read off it, with the lab's own normal ranges and the date the blood was taken. We keep them so your coach can track how your numbers move between tests. To be clear: we are not doctors and we never diagnose. Before any result is used, it's checked against your report to make sure it was read accurately, and anything medical is for you and your doctor. The first time you send results, the coach asks for your clear yes before we store anything. Change your mind whenever you like: ask, and the report and every number from it are deleted.
Why we collect it
- To run your programme — your targets, progress tracking, check-ins and reviews.
- To coach you — daily messages and progress reviews, some of which are generated with AI assistance based on what you've shared.
- To take payment and manage your membership, if you're on a paid plan.
- To keep you safe — if a check-in raises a serious wellbeing concern, it's flagged to a real human on our team.
Some of this (your weight, body fat, watch data and what you share about your health) counts as health data under UK law. We only process it because you've explicitly agreed to it — at sign-up, and again on the connect page if you link a watch — and you can pull that consent at any time by asking us to delete your data.
Where it lives
Your data is held and processed by the services that run the programme: WhatsApp (messaging), Supabase (our database), n8n (automation), ElevenLabs (voice — it reads your voice notes into text and also creates the coach's spoken replies, which may speak your numbers, like last night's sleep), Anthropic (AI coaching assistance — the coach's AI sees the data it coaches you on), Stripe (payments, if you're on a paid plan — they handle your card details, we never receive them), and — only if you connect a watch — Junction (the service that links your watch account to us; your watch data is hosted in the EU). If your watch is a WHOOP, your data comes through WHOOP's official API under their terms. They process your data only to run this service. We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as you're a member. Leave, or ask us to delete your data, and it's removed from our systems within 30 days. Payment records are kept longer where the law requires it for tax and accounting.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of everything we hold on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Have it all deleted — one email, no arguments.
That's it. No small print games — just the work.
